Arbetsmarknad & Arbetsliv (A&A) is a scholarly journal that disseminates knowledge about conditions in the labour market and working life. It strives for high scientific quality, multidisciplinary breadth, and caters to a wide readership. In addition to researchers, students at all levels and other stakeholders interested in work-related issues are important target audiences. A&A is ranked at level 1 in the Norwegian register for scientific journals, series and publishers.

Work life in transition is a scientific series published by the Faculty of Busines, Department of Work Science, Kristianstad University in collaboration with Centre for Work Environment and Leadership (Arbetsmiljöhögskolan), Lund University, the Swedish Association for Working Life Reserach (FALF), Centre for Work Life and Evaluation Studies (CTA), Malmö university and the Department of Work Science, Business Economics and Environmental Psychology, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.

The series is intended for both researchers and others interested in gaining a deeper understanding of work life issues. Within the series dissertations, anthologies and original research are published.

Open access. All publications of Work life in transition will be made available in full text online via Open Journal Systems (OJS) without any pulblication fee. The journal is accredited journal on level 1 according to the The Norwegian Register for Scientific Journals.

Arkiv för nordisk filologi, ANF, is a scientific journal focused on Nordic languages. It publishes philological and linguistic articles about the Nordic languages and older Nordic literature. Since its establishment in 1882 the journal has served as a natural forum for the latest findings in historically and philologically oriented research within the Nordic countries. It is published annually by Lund University, and each volume includes a literary chronicle summarizing the previous year's work.

Gränsløs is published by the Centre for Oresund Region Studies. The journal is mainly aimed at researchers, but also at students, opinion formers and an interested public. The articles are written in Swedish, Danish or English.

The journal, published once or twice a year, is thematically structured, and reviewed by an editorial board.

This is a database of development projects in teaching and learning in higher education, carried out at the Faculty of Medicine, Lund University.

ICO – Iconographisk Post. Nordisk tidskrift för bildtolkning – Nordic Review of Iconography is a Nordic review for iconographic research that aims to generate, discuss and disseminate new knowledge primarily regarding the visual cultural heritage of the Nordic region. Iconographical research is conducted by all disciplines concerned with interpretation and analysis of visual material, i.e. mainly in the humanities, theology, and some of the social sciences. It is ICO’s ambition to function as an interdisciplinary and inter Nordic forum for iconographical research in a broad sense. Besides scholarly articles and reviews, it contains short presentations of new literature and a forum for discussion of iconographical questions.

Iconography is primarily the study of the content and meaning of images and is used by different disciplines such as art history, semiotics, history, church history, archaeology, visual culture and media studies. Iconography is of central importance for the understanding and interpretation of visual images of all ages, as well as for how symbols, personifications and attributes change over time. As an analytical instrument, it is applicable to images of all cultures, from Sumerian cylinder seals to modern ads.

The purpose of the Journal for Person-Oriented Research (JPOR) is to publish person-oriented research in psychological science. “Person-oriented research” refers to theoretical, methodological, and empirical research that is guided by a research paradigm in which the individual is at focus and seen as a functioning totality. This paradigm implies that theories and findings should be interpretable at the individual level and that patterns of individuals´ characteristics are of key interest. Hence, a standard variable-oriented approach, with the variable as the basic conceptual and analytic unit, and analyzing data using group statistics (e.g. correlational analysis) falls normally outside the journal´s scope. JPOR emphasizes the standard scientific criteria of objectivity and replicability of research findings. Hence, many qualitative research approaches also fall outside the journal´s scope. Theoretical and methodological, as well as empirical papers are of interest to the journal.

In der 2016 von J. Alexander Bareis begründeten und herausgegebenen Zeitschrift Lunder Arbeitspapiere zur Germanistik werden aktuelle Arbeiten aus dem Bereich der germanistischen Sprach-, Literatur- und Übersetzungswissenschaft veröffentlicht. Sämtliche Beiträge sind frei zugänglich (open access) und durchlaufen vor der Publikation ein internes Begutachtungsverfahren. Publikationssprachen sind Deutsch, Englisch und Schwedisch. Die Lunder Arbeitspapiere zur Germanistik wurden ab Nr. 9 (2019) bis Nr. 23 (2022) gemeinsam herausgegeben von  J. Alexander Bareis und Britt-Marie Ek.

This interdisciplinary Journal of Middle East Studies is an open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal published digitally by the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at Lund University. The journal is published bi-annually, and features original multi-disciplinary articles related to the study of the Middle East (broadly defined). Reflecting the general mission of CMES, the journal aims to publish articles that are theoretically informed, methodologically sound and analytically innovative. Nidaba’s goal is to contribute to informed public debates and policy formulations related to the Middle East. The journal welcomes submissions with a broad perspective. Interdisciplinary submissions are strongly encouraged.

Unfortunately as of 2020, Nidaba is no longer accepting new submissions.

Patristica Nordica Annuaria is a yearly Nordic academic bulletin for the study of late antiquity and early Christianity. The bulletin is published by Collegium Patristicum Lundense at the Centre for Theology and Religious Studies, Lund University.

The bulletin features peer-reviewed articles, reviews of new Nordic research and information about current Nordic research within the field. The contributions are either in a Scandinavian language or in English.

Public Journal of Semiotics (PJOS) is a non-profit open access journal that publishes original research articles in semiotics: the systematic study of meaning. The field investigates meaning making in different semiotic systems such as language, gestures, pictures, and music, and when they combine in polysemiotic communicaton. We especially welcome submissions combining theory and robust empirical methodology on any kinds of topics that deal with human and animal meaning making, such as the evolution and history of communication, child development, and universal cognitive semiotic structures such as narrative and metaphor. Our intention is to help make semiotics more relevant for current issues, and in this sense: public.

Provocatio is published by Human Rights Studies at the Department of History, Lund University.

Provocatio aims to be a forum for critical and constructive analysis of and debate on human rights. Human rights can be a legal system, a political language, an international practice, a philosophical idea, and a conflicting and evasive historical tradition. Human rights can serve as tools of resistance against oppression, but also as a rhetorical veneer for propaganda. Human rights need to be studied in all this complexity.

Some of the articles in Provocatio are shortened, revised versions of essays and theses by students on the Bachelor programme in Human Rights Studies at Lund University. The journal also welcomes submissions from Phd-students and researchers, as well as students on other study programmes.

The journal is not committed to any political or theoretical position, only to the potential of critical analysis. We welcome submissions with a broad range of perspectives.

Rethinking Scandinavia is an online academic publication series for the international research field of Scandinavian Studies. The ambition is to offer a qualitative open access publication forum for transdisciplinary and transnational research into the cultures of the Nordic Countries.

This journal is the sequel of the Scandinavian Journal of Modern Greek Studies, which was published in four volumes. Our aim is to expand our research scope and publish the journal annually. We publish this journal in collaboration with Greek and Byzantine Studies at Uppsala University, catering to all scholars working with Greek philology and history from the Byzantine period until the present.

Tidskriften speglar och bidrar till att utveckla samtidens kulturhistoriska och etnologiska forskning, såväl i teoretiskt som empiriskt avseende. RIG publicerar artiklar, debattinlägg samt recensioner av etnologisk och kulturhistorisk litteratur med svensk anknytning.

Slavica Lundensia was founded in 1973 by L’ubomír Durovic, professor of Slavic Languages. It has since functioned as a forum for scholars from Lund University to communicate with the international research community in Slavic languages, literatures and cultures in a broad sense. Slavica Lundensia is published on an irregular basis and each issue focuses on a specific subject from within the disciplines. Recently, it has focused on issues of culture and identity, as well as cultural influences between the Slavic world and Scandinavia. The series has world-wide distribution.

ScieCom info – Nordic-Baltic Forum for Scientific Communication was a two-year project funded by the Nordbib research funding programme.

Swedish Journal of Romanian Studies (ISSN 2003-0924, Centre for Languages and Literature, Lund University / Centre for the Research of the Imaginary "Speculum", "1 Decembrie 1918" University, Alba Iulia, Romania / University of Granada, Spain / Romanian Language Institute, Bucharest, Romania / Technical University of Civil Engineering – Department of Foreign Languages and Communication, Bucharest, Romania) publishes studies about Romanian language, literature, theatre and film, cultural studies, anthropology, history, translation studies, education as well as research seminars and reviews of works within these fields. It welcomes articles that focus on case studies, as well as methodological and/or theoretical issues.

Swedish Journal of Romanian Studies is a forum that sets and requires international high quality standards. The journal accepts papers written in Romanian or English, as well as in French, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese. As of 2024 SJRS is a biannual publication, having two issues per year regularly published by May 15.

The only periodical publication in Sweden dedicated to research on liturgy, church art, church music and preaching.

Working Papers in Linguistics began in 1969 as an output for reports on research in progress. It contains principally work from researchers at the Department of Linguistics and Phonetics at Lund University.

Working Papers in Medical Humanities presents research conducted by members of the Medical Humanities Research Node at the Department of Arts and Cultural Sciences at Lund University, academic visitors, and research students. The aim is to disseminate and communicate research in the large field of medical humanities, including cultural and historical perspectives on health, healthcare, illness and medicine. The papers are peer reviewed and accessible for downloading as open access.
