Author Guidelines

The focus of the journal is subject didactical studies of teaching and learning in geography, history, civics, and religious education, but is also open to broad approaches where issues pertaining to these subjects are treated. Please explicate the connection of the topic to subject didactics in these subjects and also when necessary explain the nationally specific eduational details for the readers. For further details about the aims and scope, see "About the journal". Papers written in the Scandinavian languages Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish are prioritized, but the journal also accepts papers in English. Abstracts are always provided in English.

Style Guidelines

Submitted manuscripts should be 5,000–10,000 words, including references. Abstracts should be no more than 1,000 characters in length.

All papers published in Nordidactica follows the same layout. In order to help authors follow this layout, we provide a document template for use with manuscripts. The Journal uses the Harvard system of referencing. We also recommend that you include DOI in cases where your reference has such an identifier.

Ensuring a Blind review

The writer ensures that the file is anonimous, nor the file data or the article text should contain information which can reveal the writers identity.
