Information For Authors
Historisk Studenttidskrift is published digitally once a year.
The journal publishes articles, essays, reviews, and opinion pieces in Swedish, English, Norwegian, and Danish. Submissions primarily come from students and researchers at historical institutions in Sweden, but contributions from researchers at international universities and the general public are also welcome. All contributions fitting these genres are encouraged, regardless of the author’s background. By submitting material, the author confirms that the work has not been previously published in whole or in part, and that it has not been submitted to another journal prior to the editorial decision.
Submitted material must follow Historisk Studenttidskrift’s guidelines to be considered for publication. Texts should meet high linguistic standards, and the editorial team reserves the right to decide which contributions are published, respecting editorial independence. Manuscripts can be submitted here.
Historisk Studenttidskrift reserves the right to publish submitted contributions on its website. Authors grant the journal the right to publish their work without financial compensation or other claims. Authors retain copyright and may share or republish their work on their own only after it has been published in the journal.
Policy on Third-Party Use

Republished material must follow open access principles, and full citation of both the author and the journal must always be included.
