Övergången från arbete till pension bland utrikes födda svenskar
Abstract
Leaving working life for retirement can mean a major change and a loss of social context. For persons with foreign-born background, this can also mean a loss of central relations with the majority society. In this study, persons with foreign-born background who have reached retirement age participate. Those who in various ways have tried to maintain a relationship with the majority society have handled the transition from work to retirement most favorable to them. Those only referred to their immediate family or persons with similar national background finds more dissatisfaction with their life situation.
