Abstract
In this report, two case studies are used to investigate the challenges of the knowledge transfer problem. Each case study is focused on a separate course, one being conducted at Lund University and the other at The University Centre In Svalbard. A general overview of each course is given, along with a needs analysis of the teaching content and a review of the examination methods used. A discussion of findings common to the two studies is given.
