Information For Readers

Historisk Studenttidskrift is Sweden’s only peer-reviewed historical journal run voluntarily by students. The journal is based at the Department of History at Lund University and was founded in 2018 by students in collaboration with the department. Historisk Studenttidskrift primarily serves as a forum for students and doctoral candidates to freely exchange ideas on history and history education, but contributions from all backgrounds are welcome.

Since 2020, Historisk Studenttidskrift has been published once a year. Its content includes scholarly articles, essays, reviews, and opinion pieces in Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, and English. To ensure accessibility to the public, all issues are published open access.

The editorial team consists of Editors-in-Chief Anna Arvidsson and Agnes Holmberg; editors Hedvig Holsti Heijbel, Elias Kihlberg, Sofia Nilsson, and Ylva Aspelin; Reviews Editor Viktor Wretström; Essays Editor August Ramberg; and Web Editor Klara Nielsen Styrman. The journal’s advisory board at Lund University includes Henrik Rosengren, David Larsson Heidenblad, and Anna Nilsson Hammar.
