This article aims to shed light on the vulnerability reported by employees in personal assistance concerning sexual harassment and other forms of harassment, against the backdrop of the rules surrounding their employment. The article elucidates some of the dilemmas pertaining to sex and sexual harassment within personal assistance, adopting a perspective rooted in labor law, thus focusing on the work situations of personal assistants. Initially, the obligations of employers (providers and individual users) to prevent and prohibit employees from being subjected to sexual harassment are described, along with an examination of how confidentiality obligations are understood by those working in the industry. Subsequently, a section explores the rights users are entitled to regarding sexual pleasure according to the Law (1993:387) on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS), along with the criticism directed at the practical application of LSS (Ottar). Against the backdrop of these regulations, the article illuminates and analyzes some testimonials shared by personal assistants. The article concludes by summarizing some of the challenges that the right to sexual health may pose within the context of personal assistance.
