Abstract

Implementation of advanced technology in companies will change how the work is organized, work tasks, methods, and qualification requirements. Technology shifts should increase both companies' competitiveness and contribute to a sustainable working life for employees. The government's work environment strategy 2021–2025 emphasizes the importance of examining the positive effects of the work environment and what generates healthy workplaces. The article presents results of an interview survey in a company that is carrying out an advanced technology transition regarding, what measures the company has taken to promote an efficient and healthy transition for the company and the employees, and the respondents' reflections on what efforts were missing in the initial phase of the process and how the measures relate to relevant legal regulation.
