Två kontrasterande nytänkare

Abstract

Two important pioneers in work life research, Frederick W Taylor and Mary Parker Follett, are compared.. They were both active around the turn of 1900. Based on the author’s study of their original texts and a number of intellectual biographies, similarities and differences are demonstrated concerning their visions and ideas of work organization, leadership and group dynamics. Finally some information is given on how Taylor and Follett ended their own carreers and how they are remembered by the following generations.
