Abstract

International students face many challenges in higher education that differ from those of domestic students. Unfamiliarity with new culture, language and learning methods are reasons why they face obstacles in academic writing and sometimes even commit plagiarism. This paper describes the role of teachers, in terms of reactive and preventive approaches to deal with plagiarism and to improve academic writing skills among International Students.
