Fromma böcker, en torkad gäddskalle och naturvetenskap som inspiration till ny teologisk forskning
Abstract
In this honorary doctorate lecture Per Åkerlund speaks about the publishing career he has pursued for 35 years, having published some 850 titles so far. He also gives some suggestions for theological research, mainly on the basis of some research findings connected to the 2014 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. Specifically, Åkerlund argues that the strong ties between the processes of human memory and our sense of spatial position can shed light in New Testament exegesis.
