Hitchhikers Guide to Lecturing for PhD Students

Abstract

This report aims at developing what we call the Hitchhikers Guide to Lecturing for PhD students with the purpose to better prepare new PhD students for their future teaching responsibilities. In doing so, the report gives an overview of the key issues related to learning approaches and teaching methods. Keeping in mind our target group, we focus on the lecture as a teaching method.
