Generative AI (GAI) is rapidly changing the landscape of education by providing students with tools like ChatGPT, which are capable of solving problems, answering questions, and creating tailored learning experiences. While these technologies offer opportunities for personalized feedback, gamification, and efficient problem-solving, they also raise concerns about over-reliance, reduced critical thinking, and the potential spread of inaccurate information. This report examines the benefits and challenges of using GAI in education, with a focus on physics. By analyzing recent research and methodologies, we propose a design for an AI-driven Physics course that balances AI’s strengths with traditional teaching methods, aiming to enhance learning outcomes while preserving essential skills like critical thinking and independent problem-solving.
