Abstract
In this report an educational problem concerning
programming, particularly focused on women, is addressed.
It was triggered by the observation of statistically relevant
under-achievements among female students over the years. We
discuss the reasons for this, and give suggestions of didactical
improvements, targeting equalization of graduation performance
in terms of gender.
