Abstract

The online elective course "Design of Everyday Cognitive Support (DECS)", given by Certec at the Department of Design Sciences at LTH, was evaluated regarding student grades, forum activity and ccourse evaluation with CEQ. Between 2012 anc 2013 a number of changes were made to the course regarding feedback, both among the students and from the teacher. Both statistics from online activities in the course platform and course evaluation with CEQ provided valuable input. The results indicate an increase in peer learning and also a possible increase in deep learning, both reflected in the student grades and their self-reported problem-soving and analytic skills.
