Abstract
Will AI replace teachers in the future? (ChatGPT answer): “While AI has made significant advancements in recent years, it is unlikely that it will completely replace teachers in a lecture setting anytime soon. Teachers play a critical role in not just delivering content, but also in providing a personalized and engaging learning experience that can be difficult for AI to replicate. AI can certainly provide support to teachers by automating certain administrative tasks and providing personalized recommendations for students, but it cannot replace the human touch and interpersonal skills that are necessary for effective teaching. Additionally, teaching often involves complex problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity, which are areas where AI still struggles to match human performance. Therefore, while AI will undoubtedly continue to play an increasingly important role in education, it is unlikely to replace teachers completely in the foreseeable future.”
