Abstract

In this paper we present an exploratory case study of course, 'Kraftverksteknik' given as a masters level cource at the faculty of engineering at Lund University; using course evaluations, exam results and an interview with the overall course responsible.


Our main observation is that a lack of communication regarding expected level of work, in conjuction with introduction graded assignments resulted in students overworking their reports and complaining about exessive workload in the course evaluations. The exam result did not, however, change noticably.


This paper was written as a student assignment in Högeskolepedagogisk grundkurs at the faculty of engineering at Lund University.
