Factors Affecting Class Attendance

Abstract

Several factors affecting class attendance are considered. There are
five main topics: Physical environment, Structure, Communication,
Personal characteristic of the student and Teacher. In each topic we
discuss factors which influence students’ attendance and in some cases
we provide possibilities of increasing it.
The paper is based on accessible literature, students’ feedbacks,
interview with the teaching counselor, and personal remarks.
