Tips from the Inside

Asked to say a few introductory words on the theme ”ethnological futures”, I took the chance to ask a few colleagues on their thoughts. This text deals with what came up in these talks, both hopes and fears. Some tips were presented. My colleagues spoke, i.a., on the need for visibility and they discussed possibilities for communicating employability, and how to re-use socalled traditional ethnological knowledge to attract more students. They also talked about how best to understand the present situation.
