Abstract

During the presentation of the medical student representative (who is a T5 student if I remember correctly) I got the impression that there seems to be some confusion/lack of knowledge among medical students why there is so much focus on PBL and “casemetodik” and so few “classical” lectures in the medical faculty at Lund University (Deslauriers, Schelew et al. 2011, Deslauriers, McCarty et al. 2019). I think it would be highly advantageous to educate the students about the advantages of the “active learning” model early during their studies to have everyone “on board”.
