Implementation of active learning in an advanced laboratory session for medical physics students

Abstract

Medical physics students at Master level follow a course on radioecology where they learn the methods to measure radioactivity in the environment. The purpose if this project is to increase the engagement and interest of the students and their transfer of knowledge by implementing active learning activities in the different stages of this module. Several possible activities are suggested including considerations on gender equality and the use of new technologies.
