Project plan for Basic Biomedical Techniques course (BBT)

Abstract

I am interested to set up a new course, which will be designed for bachelor or medical students in the first or second year of their education. I have been teaching bachelor and medical students and I can see that many of them are struggling with very basic tasks and methods in the lab. I hope that this BBT course would bridge the gap between the different levels of skills of the students on the bigging of their studies. My goal is that the students in this course will learn basic laboratory skills, which allowed them to perform independently fundamental tasks in laboratory settings. The students will gain competence, which will be a base for the following courses or degree projects.
