“I’m a free rider – I’m gonna make it!” Measures for preventing free riding in peer learning
Abstract
In this study we have chosen to focus on free riding behaviour in peer learning. The nextsection describes how and why this particular subject was chosen. Then, the problem treated
in this study is formulated. In the theoretical section there is a thorough description of peer
learning and free riding. This is followed by the discussion, where free riding and possible
actions to reduce or completely prevent such behaviour are analysed and reflected through a
review of previous research. Finally, the main conclusion from this work is summoned in the
last chapter.
