Abstract

The Danish Open Access Network (DOAN) has been established after the project “Public Access to Danish Research” wich was funded by Denmark’s Electronic Research Project (DEFF) which ended in April 2009. The network includes representatives from the major Danish universities, largely from their Libraries. The immediate aim of the network is to establish the web site: http://www.open-access.dk/, which will act as a communication channel for open access news and information in Denmark, and thereafter as a forum for communication on open access issues in Denmark.
