Gnostiker som antikens feminister? Kvinnans roll och bilden av det feminina i antik gnosticism
Abstract
In this article the notion that women retained a special position among ”Gnostics”, compared the surrounding context, is questioned. It is pointed out that there are no necessary correlation between myth and social reality. Finally, it is argued that proto-orthodox portrayals of “Gnostics” as favoring women should chiefly be under-stood as a polemical technique meant to discredit ones opponents.Downloads
