Transformative Light and Luminous Traditions in Early Christian Mysticism and Monasticism
Abstract
The article deals with the use of light as a metaphor as well as an expression of divine presence in two different early Christian contexts, the sayings of the desert fathers, and the writings of early Christian mystics, and shows how they share the same basic ideas, but use different means of expression.Downloads
