A new structure for the Master Programme in Human Factors and Systems Safety

Abstract

The following learning aims are the broad aims with the programme as a whole. Specific learning
aims are also formulated for each course. The overall learning aims are that the programme
should allow the students to:
• develop critical and analytical skills
• formulate arguments for a standpoint
• share experiences within the diverse group
• get a group-identity
• learn theory stemming from the concrete strategies of safety-management to the
philosophy and ethics of safety
