Supervision Sessions - Practice and Expectations

Abstract
This work presents the outcome of a questionnaire survey, aimed at investigating the supervision meeting culture at Lund University, Faculty of Engineering. PhD students and supervisors from two departments were invited to anonymously answer the questionnaire. Results from 57 individuals were collected, and analyzed. The key conclusion is that both students and supervisors are contempt with current practice.
