Different engineering programs at Lund Technical University (LTH) have different gender divisions. Some programs are male-dominated, some are female-dominated, and some are more balanced. In certain situations of minority-majority grouping, certain differences in education experience can be seen between the two groups. It is then of interest to study these differences with groups of reversed majority-minority. In this work, we study data from the Course Experience Questionnaire (CEQ) conducted at LTH. With information about the gender of admitted students from the Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR), we define two groups of engineering programs: one female-dominated and one male-dominated. Within these two groups, the CEQ results from the minority gender as well as the majority gender are evaluated and discussed. We find that no clear minority effect is observed, but some subtle differences can be seen nonetheless.
